-「Ref.6542」は、ベークライト製ベゼルインサートを備えた唯一のリファレンスであり、そのベゼルの質感は驚くほど魅力的な深みを生み出している。

Submariner Comex

-【ロレックス】『サブマリーナー』「Ref.16800」は、「Ref.1680」の後継モデルとして1979年から1988年頃にかけて製造された。

-本モデルよりプラスチック風防の代わりにサファイアクリスタルを採用、新しいムーブメント（cal.3035）だけでなく、300メートル防水を備えている。さらに、逆回転防止ベゼルに変更され、ダイバーの安全性に配慮された。

-フランスのマルセイユを拠点とする潜水会社COMEX（Compagnie d'Expertise Maritime）は、ロレックスに極限の圧力条件にも耐えうるダイビングウォッチの製作を依頼。

-【ロレックス】は1982年から1986年頃にかけて、約300本の『サブマリーナー』「Ref.16800」をCOMEXに納入した。裏蓋にはCOMEXのリファレンス6208が刻印されている。

Daytona 'Paul Newman'

-1970年頃から1972年頃まで生産された『デイトナ』「Ref.6262」および「Ref.6264（プラベゼル）」は、『デイトナ』の世代としては最も短い生産期間であった。

-「エキゾチックダイヤル」と呼ばれる文字盤を少量生産しており、後に「ポールニューマンダイヤル」として一般に知られるようになった。この希少な「エキゾチックダイヤル」は、通常のダイヤルに比べてアールデコ調のデザインが特徴となっている。

-「Ref.6239」、「Ref.6241」、「Ref.6262」を含むプッシュボタン式プッシャーの個体は生産数が少なく非常に希少。

Daytona, 'Paul Newman'

-「Ref.6241」は、1965年頃から1969年頃の間におよそ4年間しか製造されなかったため、それ自体が希少なリファレンスとなっている。

-「Ref.6239」に見られるステンレスベゼルの代わりにプラスチックベゼルを備えた最初のデイトナでもあり、素材はステンレス、14Kゴールド、18Kゴールド製で展開され、通常ダイヤルおよびエキゾチックダイヤルと呼ばれている通称「ポール・ニューマン」が存在している。

-ステンレススチール製が2250本、18Kゴールド製が300本、14Kゴールド製が450本で、「ノンオイスター」または「ノンスクリューダウン」のクロノグラフボタンと黒いプラスチックインサートベゼルを備え、タキメータースケールはホワイトでプリントされていた。

-「Ref.6241」のうち、エキゾチック文字盤を備えていた個体はごく限られた数と言われており、後にアメリカの俳優、監督、レーシングカードライバーとして有名なポール・ニューマンが愛用していたことにちなんで通称「ポール・ニューマン」と呼ばれるようになった。
